This little monkey is two years old today! And I’m not there to give her a birthday snibble… well, she’ll just have to get double snibbles tomorrow when I get home. Morcilla also shares a birthday with the love of my life Azar.

My pretty Luna doesn’t end up getting as much “air time” as her more colourful siblings. I’ve often talked about how Luna is Pure Cat (as opposed to Loki being a Total Dog and Morcilla an Alien Being that hopefully comes in peace…) and she really is the most cat-like cat I’ve had since Lua. Except Luna is more affectionate, though in her own way and exactly when she feels like it. Anyhow, this is Luna in bed the other morning. As you can see, she just LOVES a good belly rub. Well, wouldn’t you?

Morcilla (aka ninja kitten) is up to her old tricks. Now that it’s warming up she’s no longer into curling up with the other cats on my cosy quilt while I enjoy my Saturday morning coffee in bed. Which could have something to do with the quilt no longer being there. But I think it’s more to do with the bright morning sunlight and shadows of passing birds playing across the curtains. Just so you know, those curtains are 3 metres long. Once she gets up that high I can’t even lift her down. Little monkey.
