So this is what I did yesterday…
Got a new page set up for my teaching biz, which I think looks quite nice. I thought I could use it for advertising not just English classes, but also translations and whatnot. I decided to use the same theme I’m using for azahar sevilla, but without a rotating image in the header and only one sidebar. So next time I make up posters I’ll include the website URL.
Sevilla English
There is a short English translation here.

Great idea!

Good for you! Good job, too.

Thanks. I might play around with the word clouds a bit, but I think it looks okay for one day’s work.
By the way, the name Sevilla English is probably temporary.
Any suggestions for a better name?

So okay, no better name suggestions …
Today I had lunch with Susan (pipocas) and talked over a previous idea to have an online store. At first this was going to be on Sevilla Tapas, but I think it will work better on the new main website.
Store name suggestions also welcome …

Looks great! Really fresh and contemporary and clear. Nice job 🙂
Ummm, ideas for names?… something like ‘Chatter’ or ‘Chattering’ with ‘Seville English Language Services’ as a secondary strapline??

Thanks woo. Today I changed all the headings from BOLD to normal (both on Sevilla English and azahar-sevilla) which might be contributing to the “contemporary and clear” look you mentioned.
Chatter could be good if it were just classes, but with translations and various other things on offer, I think something more … what??? … might be more suitable.

Are you looking for an “english” or a “spanish” name?
Can you get anywhere with a nice short acronym?
Sevilla English Language & Life Skills (SELLS)? is the sort of thing I mean, I don’t think much of that one myself, but you get the idea?

I like the name and the logo! What is it that you’re unhappy with in “Sevilla English”?

Thinking it over, I’ll probably stick with Sevilla English for now. It probably doesn’t really matter what it’s called.
The store should maybe have something snappy as its name, but for now the Sevilla Store will have to do.
Now to find some merchandise…
