Just wanted to say thanks again to those of you who are continuing to send donations. As I am still struggling to find enough work, this has really been helping me out and is very much appreciated.
Also thanks to everyone who continues to visit here and keep me company, which provides much needed emotional support that really makes my day and helps me keep going.
Love you guys!

Ooooh, shiny new website1 You have been busy! Sending you warmest of thoughts and good karma, as always

Now you see, this is just what I’m talking about. A lovely person showing up and saying lovely things. Thanks, Linda. 🙂
I saw on Twitter that you’ve been offline for awhile. Yes, brand new blog theme. I basically swapped the old one with the one I made for my new(ish) kitchen blog. So anyone who misses the old theme can see it over there. I dunno, there was just something about this one that grabbed me. And wait till you see the fab header I have lined up for Christmas!

I have been reduced to simply keeping you company by the economy here in lovely Lebanon MO. It gives me hope to know that there are still places and people where there is extra money, and I am very glad that you are the beneficiary. I wish I could do more than keep you company and do what I sort of think of as “cheerleading.”

I think people just give what they can when they can. I’ve been getting about a couple of donations a month since the summer, and it’s amazing how they tend to show up just when a bill needs to be paid!
I really thought I’d be back to almost full time work by now, but I guess like with you and massages, people aren’t doing so many “extra curricular” activities as before.
The other thing is that I have to keep Nog employed, so most of the work that has been coming in since summer has gone to him, simply because he needs it and the classes are mostly out of the house. I’m trying to set up enough work I can do at home in case of another recurrence, and the five classes a week I have so far are perfect for that. The students are very flexible and also know about the cancer.
I’m also hoping some of my other projects will start bringing in some income before too long. But for now, if I can just get another five classes a week, along with the income from next door, I should be able to squeak by until next summer.
Meanwhile, the “cheerleading” also does me a world of good. Don’t ever doubt that.
I didn’t call this blog casa az for nothing. It really is like my home here, and it’s great when people stop by and say hello. 🙂
