Heh, coming to you live from Birthday Central, which at the moment has shifted to being snug under the duvet with a little black cat. Had a great Birthday Eve and looking forward to a great day. Which will get here faster if l go to sleep, right?

In fact, the best foods include ALL the calories … that’s what makes them so delicious. Oh, that beef was gorgeous. And the rucula salad … they get their rucula from Almeria. It’s so different from the stuff I can find at the supermarket here. Love it. And the ravioli really does taste like Christmas. 🙂

Made some movie snacks and now Nog & I are going to watch The Half-Blood Prince. We started watching it last night and then realised – duh – that we hadn’t seen the previous one (Order of the Phoenix). So we watched that one instead.
So far so good, but no way those kids are 16…

HBP was a damn fine job with an unwieldy book — but my favorite is still Goblet Of Fire, with jailbait Harry in the bathtub.

My favourite books were one and three. Not sure that I really like the films much – as films – but I like seeing so many wonderful actors so obviously enjoying their roles.

Thanks! It was a great day and a perfect end to a perfect holiday season. My best Christmas ever!
This morning it was back to the gym (yoga classes started up again today) and now I’m trying to get some work stuff organised. Both Nog and I need more students, so that’s going to be a challenge.
It was especially nice that the sun came out yesterday and that it’s bright & sunny (though COLD!) today. Apparently there’ll be another week of solid RAIN after this, but it’s a good way to get re-started. Sunshine definitely helps.
What a fabulous birthday party this was.
