Here it is, revamped and updated and all that jazz. Well, almost. But quite a lot of work has been done on my azahar-sevilla.com page and I wanted to ask for some feedback. So many people have told me that I should get people to advertise on Sevilla Tapas, but that is really my own personal project and I don’t want anyone to think that I’m being paid to put tapas bars and restaurants on that blog.
But this information page about Sevilla is open to advertisers simply because it’s got such a variety of information in it that hotels, restaurants and whoever else wants to are welcome to place an ad. At over 500 visits a day I reckon it’s an attractive advertising option for local businesses.
So what do you think? Bear in mind that not all of the pages are finished (those will be obvious to spot) but I’d love to know if there are any glaring omissions or just anything that doesn’t seem to work. If you were coming to Sevilla for a holiday, what would you really want to know about before you arrived?

I think it looks great. It’s bright and colourful without being gaudy, very easy to look at. It’s also easy to navigate through the different sections.
One very small comment – you have “Tel.” after each hotel in the accommodation section but no numbers. It’s such a great section, providing the numbers would be the icing on the cake.

Wow, you really went through it! Thanks!
It’s still far from finished yet, and so yes, the hotel section will be much more complete. That was just a quick copy and paste from a research doc I had previously written. There will be photos, telephone numbers and links to websites.
Also just put up a walking tours section, which I hope is going to end up being a new part time job for Nog.

Only got time for a quick look at the moment, but on the home page you are inconsistent between Seville and Sevilla?

I know. Still undecided because I prefer Sevilla, but Seville is the English word. I wonder why. They haven’t got an English translation for Barcelona, Madrid, Salamanca, Valencia, Malaga, Marbella, San Sebastian etc etc…

Personally I’d go with Sevilla – it’s pretty obvious what it is to us Brits but sounds nicer.
