So the other day I came across a site where you could “hire a local friend” while travelling in various cities, who would show you around and make your experience less touristy, blah blah… and then I thought this would be perfect for Peter. Happily he thought so too, and so for the past couple of days I’ve been working on getting a new blog and social media stuff set up for him. Peter’s been busy writing content (not published yet) and we’ve both been talking about the various ways he could take this new venture. I mean, there are lots of different specialised outings in Seville he could offer, as well as day trips by train or bus. This is very exciting! So go on and follow his blog, twitter and facebook accounts!

You could include tours of the places mentioned in the Inspector Javier Falcon thrillers written by Robert Wilson!

What I really want to know is – what are the little things that niggle you when you’re on holiday, but which could be dealt with by someone who knows their way around. Suggestions please.

Just for starters, how about:
If someone is self-catering – where and when they can buy essentials.
Locations of Pharmacies – and which ones are open late/early.

Something that always confuses me in Spain is where to get off & on the buses – even speaking Spanish to a basic degree never seemed to help with this one

That was just a quick snap I took the other day after going to make a panoramic photo on top of the mushrooms. I like it too.
