dream terraza

I mean, you all know that I am very happy in my present Casa Azahar and have no plans to leave it. BUT there are a handful of gorgeous rooftop terraces that I covet from afar, and this is one of them. Assuming that it’s a duplex, so the two top floors with this fabulous azotea. How amazing would that be? It’s also in a great location. Well, a girl can dream.

Every since Loki broke off his left upper incisor a few weeks ago he is often seen with his tongue sticking out. I think it’s still bothering him, or at least he worries it, not unlike I do with bits of missing parts of my own teeth. I actually need to get about 3 or 4 crowns, but that ain’t gonna happen. Anyhow, that’s a whole other story. Meanwhile, the stump where Loki’s tooth used to be isn’t as red as before so I think (hope) he’s on the mend. Sure hasn’t stopped him eating. It probably just feels weird not having his FANG there anymore, my poor old loveable doof.

shoes (2)

Since lockdown in March 2020 I started leaving my shoes outside my apartment door, because I didn’t want to bring Covid and other street ickyness into the house. And since there is only me and my downstairs neighbour here, and she never comes upstairs, I have kept on doing this. But now I have a flatmate again! And both of us have to take off our shoes before coming inside. So I have found this. It will fit snugly into a nook just outside the front door and looks like a perfect solution. The next thing will be to see if I manage to put it together (it’s being delivered this week)…

Question. Is it normal for you, where you live, to take off your shoes before entering someone’s home? It’s totally normal in Canada, not so much in Spain.
