So OMG imagine my surprise when I came across THIS in Málaga last week! Apparently it’s been there for a year, but I haven’t been in town since last December so it’s not surprising I missed it. I had just received an online knickers & tights order so could only browse here, but will remember this for future visits. It’s so much nicer to see and touch things before you buy them.

I do love Skechers, ever since I bought my first pair of Go Walks in Málaga back in 2013. I’ve actually rebought that same style a couple of times since, and more recently bought these ones online, but as I couldn’t try them on first (obviously) they ended up not the best fit. Then today I was walking home past the Skechers store and saw these fun bling ones were on sale half price. And well, they are awfully cute, more shimmery than glitzy, and they fit! So hello new shoes!

It’s always a bit dangerous going into @joharicontemporaneo in calle Francos. 😉 What can I say – ended up treating myself to these fun earrings.
These may look familiar as they are by the same designer – Oana Millet – who also created my happy earrings and happy bracelet from two years ago. Love her stuff. Light, bright and colourful. Happy.

The other day I “discovered” Ultramarinos Alonso. I thought their display of beans was wonderful, so I asked the owner if I could take some photos. Then this lovely gent – obviously a regular customer – said, “with me or without me?”. And so of course I said, “Both!”
Apparently Ultramarinos Alonso has been around since 1935, though moved to its current location in calle San Luís in 2004. Now run by the grandson of the original owner (both called Alonso) they also have an active social media presence (which is how I heard about them) and an impressive online shop, in both Spanish and English. I wonder what the original Alonso would make of it.
