
It’s supposed to be a HEAT WAVE but somehow it’s cooler in the south than in the north. And these lovely wispy clouds look more like autumn ones. Not complaining…

Yikes! It’s getting hot. 43º in Sevilla tomorrow.
According to El País…
AEMET records going back to 1975 show that there have only been 10 summers in Spain without a single heat wave, the last one in 2014. Last year set a new record with as many as five heat waves. The longest one, however, took place in 2015 and lasted 26 days.

Happy Andalucía Day!
It’s also the first day wearing sandals this year, and a record-breaker. Previously the earliest day recorded was on March 9, 2015. In fact, it’s been warm enough for sandals (at least during the day) since last weekend, but I only now got around to doing a quick pedi. My toes already feel happier. 🙂
