Yesterday we had about an hour and a half of blessed rain here… really a full on thunderstorm. Much needed and appreciated but it blew through town way too quickly. Hopefully it lingered longer in the countryside. Anyhow, I was out hobbling around getting some errands done and this was the sky on my way home, about an hour before the storm hit.

… especially when they are so pretty, and also seriously cut down on the FUCKING HEAT that has arrived here way too early. Stay tuned folks because the torrential rains all through Semana Santa gave us some breathing space, but if we hit over the top temps super early (like last year) the reservoirs won’t last long. Meanwhile tourists are complaining that they came here for some sun.

… have been recently cleaned. Today was my first time out of the house since last Tuesday (!!!). I had no tours and didn’t really fancy getting soaked to the bone. On the plus side I caught up on some work at home (photo editing, website stuff) and got back into my daily yoga/pilates and small weights routine. Anyhow, the azahar is all gone now, washed away, but the trees look extra green and shiny. Plus our reservoirs are now up to 60% and we get an extra hour of daylight. Happy April!
