It’s been RAINING here in Sevilla the past two days, something that we are all quite grateful for. Well, except for getting the laundry dry. But it also means that it feels like “stay at home” weather. So after going to see my GP today (nope, still no clue as to what THE PAIN is about) and doing some shopping, I came home and made a totally comfort food rainy day lunch. Garlicky pan-grilled swordfish, stir-fried courgetti and twice-fried chips with soy mayo. And well, have been home ever since. Doing this and that. A bit of work stuff (as always). Netflixing with cats. In PJs.
Sun will be back with us tomorrow.
tights & shoes 2017

So I have managed to hold out a full three days longer than last year, but it is finally time to say “hasta pronto!” to my sandals and start wearing tights & shoes again. Sad, sad feet… 😦

I know we need the rain, but it’s so hard to wish for it when the sky is this beautiful (and I can still wear sandals!). I was thinking that Anna @annalibera would bring rain with her from Galicia when she visits next week (like she usually does!), but they are in the middle of a drought up there so who knows what will happen.
A quick check back (my goodness this daily blog posting thang is useful 😉 ) shows me that I didn’t have to start wearing tight & shoes until November 7th last year, so there are probably still a couple of weeks of sandal weather left.
