… because here comes the rain (again).
What’s it like where you are?

It is officially COLD here in Sevilla. Had to take out the winter duvet last night and wheel the portable radiator into the living room (which the cats love). So that’s it. Winter weather has hit Sevilla. Trying to hold off on the central heating but not sure how long I can last. I feel a bit like this pigeon I came across today, huddled in the corner of a church doorway taking shelter from the wind. Brrrr…
How’s the weather over there?

Coming home from tonight’s tapas tour the sky looked quite ominous.
Stormy weather has been predicted.

Looks like I’ll be saying adiós to my sandals this week. Not so much because of the temperatures but, together with more rain, my feet are going to need a bit more protection from the elements. Dammit.
This is always kind of a melancholy time of year for me. The clocks have gone back, it’s only 7 pm here but now dark as night. Luckily it’s still warmish – about 18 degrees – so we will probably be able to comfortably sit outside during the first stop of my Sevilla Tapas Tour tonight.
The electric fans went into storage today and the winter duvets have been picked up from the cleaners, but still too soon to take out the space heaters.
How’s the weather where you are? I know that Sledpress is about to experience some Serious Weather, which I hope won’t cause any damage.
Me? I’ll still be wearing sandals tonight, but will take a light coat with me.

The word biblical comes to mind. Holy cow, it’s been raining cats and dogs all day. With intermittent torrential downpours that make it impossible to even step outside. And it looks like this isn’t going to let up until the weekend. Everyone says that this is a good thing, because Sevilla always needs rain, but I think deep down people wish it could always be sunny.
Me? I’d just like to get my laundry dried.
Isn’t this a fabulous photo by Raúl Díaz? (click to enlarge). He’s a twitter friend and “neighbour” and took this pic today in the centre of Sevilla.
