For those of you who may have noticed…
I haven’t been around the ol’ blogosphere much of late, though I have actually been spending even more time than usual in front of the computer. When I have had some time to do a little blog reading (usually in bed on the iPhone with Azar on my head) I mostly catch up without leaving comments. Which I know is really bad of me because I know how much I love getting comments, and that you gotta give in order to receive, and all that jazz. But it’ll probably be like this for the next couple of weeks anyhow, while I desperately try to get work and other stuff sorted out.
Aside from my brief meltdown last week I’m actually feeling quite good and optimistic about things, though I am still having trouble focusing. It helps when I have a plan and a list of things to do, which kind of went missing there after the Morocco trip. Getting sick again kind of threw things off and probably also did a number on me emotionally, especially as I had to miss over a week of yoga classes. Anyhow, just wanted to say that I’m very glad you guys have continued to visit and leave comments during my absence, and that I hope to get into a more settled routine soon. Preferably one that includes having an income.
Between English classes, translation work, apartment rentals, affiliate ads on my websites – and now the Sevilla Store idea – I hope that I will soon be doing more than just yearning a living.
Watch this space!
Keep on keeping on!
How was Pilates? I’ve been meaning to get back into a regular yoga habit for about a year…

Your *waves* reminds me of the “thought for the day” in yoga class this morning, Toy Box.
“Water is the only thing supporting the waves”
And I thought … wtf does that mean??? 🙂
Pilates was good, woo, but today it felt like a bus had run over the fronts of my thighs. Ouch.
*hugs* Teuchter back.

Crikey – even in in your “absence” you are present a lot more than me!
Hope the recivery (in all senses) keeps progressing.

“you are present a lot more than me!”
Well really Johnny, who isn’t? 😉
It’s true that I haven’t stopped posting here on this blog, so it’s really about having been absent from other people’s blogs. And I didn’t want it to seem like I was just neglecting everybody, because my bloggy community of friends is very important to me.
Though I actually see quite a few blog friends on Twitter now, on my “azahar” account. I’ve also been using my “SevillaTapas” Twitter account a lot lately for making biz contacts. So between working on the various new webpages, trying to find teaching work, trying to find biz contacts, etc, as I said, I’m actually on line more than ever, but there is less time for “leisure activities” like blog or newspaper reading.
And every now and then I do have to drag myself away from the computer screen to go to my yoga & pilates classes, take a walk, see a RL friend, teach a class … anyhow, those are my excuses and I’m sticking to them! 🙂

Comment time is always a problem with me – this working for a living sometimes sucks. Some days I really do rely on pre-published posts so that I can appear to be here 🙂

That’s okay. I don’t always comment when I read either, and I have more time than most.
Things will get back to normal again.

I seem to have less time for reading and writing these days for some reason. I take a couple days off, then catch up. And there are a lot of blogs I read that I never comment on, for one reason or another. When I look at my stats, it seems about one out of three visitors comments. Some are ever faithful, and others are occasional. I expect that. It’s OK.
