… and checking it twice.
Really need to feel more together and in control when I see my oncologist again later on today. I have all sorts of notes and questions and even a time graph showing how long my chemo symptoms last during the three-week cycle. I hope she listens this time.
Wish me luck!
Best of luck, Az! I always take lists into the doc with me, too. It’s a great idea and a big help.

Good luck! The list is good; I always go in with one. Let us know how it goes. Is someone going with you?

It’s a funny thing about doctors. They seem to have more belief in what you are saying if you have list written down. Charts are also good. When I was arguing about whether or not I had high blood pressure with my doc, the mere fact that I took my own blood pressure on a daily basis was not enough. Where did I record it? was what he wanted to know. Now I write it in my planner.

Good luck. For whatever reason, doctors often respect lists more than they respect patients. You can use that.

I hope everything went well, az. Maybe, if she doesn’t pay attention even after the list, you can mention your childhood abuse issues. The medicos are finally recognizing that this stuff is a factor, even decades later. Best of luck and snibbles…
And listen to Teuchter, we need an update.
