Got home from Málaga yesterday evening … I was so excited to see Azar again! As soon as I opened the door he started MEOWING like crazy. Then he ran under the bed and pretended to sulk. But unlike other times he only managed to sulk for about three minutes before coming out and allowing himself to be snibbled. That was when I saw that he had managed to keep himself amused during my absence by dragging clothes out from the storage boxes under the bed and making mincemeat out of a roll of paper towels that had been left on an end table in the livingroom (and not for the first time).
After much snibbling and rolling around on the bed with small black cat I started on the first of several loads of washing that need doing and then … I put up the Christmas tree! Right on schedule.
Today I’m going to work on my Málaga photos and will hopefully have them up on Fotki to show you all a bit later. It was a wonderful long weekend and great to get away, but also so very nice to be home again.
[very cool tea towel was a gift from alejna]

BWAAA HAA HAA!
I recognize the condition of that paper roll!
I have a fearless toilet-paper killer in my house. She breaks the roll’s little toilet paper neck with one lightning snap of her head.

Yes, that roll of paper has been well and truly shown who is boss. 😉
I was supposed to be seeing ‘Inglorious Basterds’ at the outdoor cinema in Centennial Park last night but, VERY unusually for Sydney, it was cancelled due to bad weather. Basically a howling gale, threatening to uproot the screen and fling picnics about with gay abandon.
Which reminds me, I need to go online and get my tickets refunded…
glad you had fun in Malaga, looking forward to the photos!

“She leaves me a perfectly wonderful toy and then gets miffed when I play with it….”
Luckily, Benjamin doesn’t tear paper up, though he truly loves it when I put a pile of tissue paper on the floor. He runs into it, hides himself under it, and attacks it. He’s like a kid in a pile of leaves.

I can’t wait to see how much fun he has with the new carpetless living room floor. I expect much skidding and sliding into piles of tissue!

Great picture. What do you expect when you leave a nice roll out in the open 🙂
