Yes, I do tend to talk about my feet a lot during the “footwear change” seasons of spring and autumn, but it’s always a challenge for me to find shoes and sandals I like that fit. You may recall that I solved last year’s sandal dilemma of only ugly Mephistos being available in the shops here by ordering this pair online, which was a surprising success considering my very hard-to-fit feet. So this year I am trying my luck again with these happy red ones.
Quite looking forward to their arrival.

Makes me long for the summer…although warmer temperatures seem to be slowly coming to Paris.

It’s been hot and sunny the past couple of weeks, and suddenly it feels like winter again. Put away the duvet a bit too soon, I think. But I will not go back to wearing shoes!

Still chilly here in parts of the UK, often with a bitter wind, (not to mention rain!) so I haven’t given my sandals an airing yet. Your prospective new mephistos look very “you” so I hope you find them comfortable when they arrive.

I gave up trying to find a nice looking pair of shoes that would actually feel good, oh, about 30 years ago. But those are darn cute. And RED.

I am happy that I purchased 5 pairs of my beloved El Naturalistas last year. I am still on pair my original red pair and Number 1 (Plum) of the 5 new ones and am loathe to bring out the others. But I DID buy them so as to have ones of different colours and am hoping to get more at the end of the year….
I don’t know WHAT I would do if I ran out of them.
