It’s always a treat when my friend Victor @welovemalaga (also my biz partner @welovetapastour) breezes through town – usually during one of his crazy busy 3-week tours that take him through Spain, Portugal and Morocco. This past Sunday we had a couple of hours at lunchtime together to catch up and enjoy a few tapitas.
I was shocked to discover that Victor had yet to try the world-famous Crackburger™ at La Brunilda. And so off we went to remedy this situation. As luck would have it, although people were waiting for tables when we arrived, the bar had been left wide open (a sure sign that all the clients were foreigners), so we grabbed a couple of bar stools and ordered up.
The verdict? Victor absolutely LOVED his first (but not last) Crackburger™. I always love being there for someone’s first special gastronomic experience, be it jamón, pringá, sherry, etc. It’s great seeing the expressions of joy, hearing the delighted MMMMMMs, and knowing that – even in some small way – these people’s lives have been changed forever.
