Looks like the landlady is NOT EVER going to fix the central heating, so it’s now up to several space heaters and these guys. Still do not comprehend how this is to her benefit because, if I leave tomorrow, she’ll have to repair the whole central unit and much more. And she may end up with someone who doesn’t maintain the apartment as well as I do, who doesn’t pay on time, etc etc. Anyhow, for now we are all cosy.

So… I loved this place. One of Madrid’s coolest new cocktail bars. Even though I’m not so big on cocktails, or alcoholic drinks other than wine. But during my last Madrid Getaway I ended up stopping in here two days in a row, early evening, for a cocktail. And it was lovely. Great ambiance, friendly staff, tasty drinks… looking forward to the opening party of their sister bar here in Sevilla in the Mercer Hotel.
So it’s been kind of rainy, which nobody ever really complains about much this time of year… because we do need the rain. But it’s also lovely to see skies like this. And enjoy midday temps of about 18º, warm enough to enjoy a nice cold beer outside…
