I’m thinking of getting one of these for my flatmate Peter. He’s forever appearing out of nowhere in his soft house slippers and making me jump out of my skin. At least this way I’ll have some warning. 😉

Oh God, the Engineer does that to me. When we’re in the yard I’ll be pulling vines or something and he just walks up behind me and I shoot five feet in the air.

My stepbrother/lodger did that too. Not anymore though – he finally moved out at Easter 😀 (he moved in “just for a month or two” on 1st August 2020)

Same issue, but I accept most of the responsibility. When focused, any disturbance [no matter how benign] shakes me up. I was even sorta-accused of sleeping once when examining a land survey at a former job.
