I should never bring these home, let alone TWO of them, but the second one was 70% off dammit. Crisps and popcorn are the only food items l can’t seem to resist if they are in the house (though l can go months without them – honest!). What are yours?

Crisps too! I like the fried egg ones from Mercadona….but have seen these in Corte Ingles too. Haven’t tried them, I usually grab the Tyrells Sea Salt and Black Pepper which are a familiar British flavour. An purely British snack is a crisp sandwich but it has to be white bread and ordinary salted crisps….a VERY occasional treat but irresistible.

I’ve had chip butties but never a crisp one. Do you put butter on?

I would put butter on it. But then I’d also put corned beef and salad cream on it. That is my idea of sandwich heaven 😀
