Found this DVD today over at Fnac . . .
For just 5.95€ we will be able to blast to the past and relive Woodstock. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Will let you know how it goes (after I get the flowers out of my hair).

I’ve been listening to this CD a lot since I got home from Lisbon. This video is a scene from Wim Wender’s film Lisbon Story, featuring Madredeus and Teresa Salgueiro (who we saw at the Fado concert at the castle). It’s years since I saw the film – I’ll have to look for it on DVD and visit Lisbon all over again. I remember that the cinematography was fabulous and was in part responsible for my desire to go there myself.

Losing my Star Wars virginity.
It’s 30 years since the release of sci-fi classic Star Wars, considered by many to be among the greatest films of all-time.
But what would it be like to watch it now, for the first time?
BBC News entertainment reporter Kevin Young’s sole exposure to science-fiction to date consists of lusting after Gillian Anderson in The X-Files for a while in the 1990s.
Despite fearing it was two hours of his life he’d “never get back”, he offered to lose his Star Wars virginity.
I find it hard to believe that a BBC News entertainment reporter could be considered a true Star Wars virgin – even if he had never seen the film he must have known the basic storyline. I’ve seen the original trilogy so many times that I can’t remember how it felt seeing it for the first time. Though I do remember having a panic attack at the cinema watcing a scene with Darth Vader and the Emperor in The Empire Strikes Back.
Do you remember how it felt being a Star Wars virgin?
Also, check out 30 pieces of trivia about Star Wars.
And visit Archie’s Archive for prequel Lego Star Wars.
~ spoiler alert warning for those who are true virgins ~

You scored 6 out of a possible 10
Canned goods. Not bad at all. True, some of the more obscure nuggets of Cannes wisdom have passed you by, but you have a decent grasp on the festival’s high and low culture, and are as at home with the porn stars as you are watching a three-hour Ukrainian art movie.
