What a great week with two batches of new sherry converts! First up (above) Leigh, Anna, Spike and Alex on a Sherry Tapas Tour (3 bars, lots of sherry, food and fun) and then a Sherry Tapas Tasting (below) with Maria, Steve, Chris, Bert and Pam (shorter version at Casa Morales). Love my job. 👸🏻🥂

These days I prefer to do lunchtime tapas tours for various reasons, mostly to do with my dodgy knee and being OLD now… by 8 pm all I want to do is cosy up in my PJs with Morcilla and watch TV. But sometimes I end up taking the “night shift” and am invariably rewarded by lovely scenes like this on my way home. Worth it. 🌙 💛

Lovely evening with my fellow academics celebrating the 5th Anniversary of the Academia Sevillana de Gastronomía y Turismo which was held at the gorgeous Manolo León Restaurant in San Lorenzo. It’s my first year as a member of the Academy and I look forward to celebrating many more together.

… have been recently cleaned. Today was my first time out of the house since last Tuesday (!!!). I had no tours and didn’t really fancy getting soaked to the bone. On the plus side I caught up on some work at home (photo editing, website stuff) and got back into my daily yoga/pilates and small weights routine. Anyhow, the azahar is all gone now, washed away, but the trees look extra green and shiny. Plus our reservoirs are now up to 60% and we get an extra hour of daylight. Happy April!
