Every time I go out in the evening (next to never these days) I always tell myself I should do it more often. Except by this time of day I am usually so worn out the idea of putting myself through more pain by going out for a hobble, well it’s too much. But then it end up being worth it because I get to see stuff like this. I just wish it didn’t hurt so much. ๐Ÿ’™

Yesterday’s Blue ๐Ÿ’™ (last chance before Storm Claudia hits) and whatever the fuck this is. Looks like they blew the whole Christmas lights budget on tram toldos. Seriously, at the END of August this year the city council put up street awnings over the Avenida de la Constituciรณn (now taken down), costing over 300,000 euros, that only covered the tram line… NOT WHERE THE PEDESTRIANS WALK. Duh. And now we get this sad excuse for Christmas lights, which will probably get blown away over the next few days (we’re on orange alert for wind and storms). Also… spot the willy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

january blues

… I haz them. With oranges.

All this talk about Juno (when did they start naming snow storms?) and Stormaggeddon. Honestly, at the risk of sounding like one of the four Yorkshire men, when I were a lass I often used to have to walk to school in waist-deep snow. We just bundled up and donned our mukluks. Photos of the Juno afflicted areas look like regular winter days in the places I grew up. Of course, I’d hate it now, but hey, that’s why I live here.
