A quiet Christmas Eve at home. I finally put up “the tree” only to discover that the pretty string of lights had been stored improperly (not by me!) and were broken half-way along, so looks like I’ll be treeless this year. A half-lit up tree is somehow sadder than not having one at all. But for awhile at least the girls had fun knocking over the Christmas cards and sitting on them. This would’ve been a perfect pic had Loki decided to join them, though I’m not sure he would have fit, haha. I mean, ho ho ho…
