I’ve spent far too much time in bed the past two days, battling a pesky cold-fever thang. Very sweetly, the lovely Nurse Morcilla hasn’t left my side. Here she is on my pillow keeping me company. Awwww…

One of the nice things about the new Casa Azahar is that my Office is next to the balcony and I get to enjoy this street view while I work. The girls like it too, so in the morning I move a little table in front of the balcony so they can hang out with me. Now if they could only learn to answer emails and edit photos…

This week (other than one tapas tour on Tuesday) I am on a “staycation” in Sevilla, and here’s Luna giving me a lesson in lounging. This is her favourite lounging spot in the new Casa Azahar. No doubt I’ll be spending too much time lamp hunting, but I also hope to relax before going off to Málaga next week.
It’s been a busy summer and so some “down time” is probably a good idea. I’m not actually very good at relaxing, but it’s nice having a change of routine this week, and also looking forward to seeing the sea again.

Cleaning out some drawers I came across some cat toys from the old place and let them “run free”. Loki immediately put them all together on the sofa … his stash. Awwwww.
It’s like Morcilla KNOWS I’m going away. And even though I know Peter will be here to look after the beasts, and that he’ll take good care of them, it still breaks my heart every time I have to leave. Right, off to catch my train!
