Los Corales has a long history in Sevilla, having started life as a small family run tapas bar off Calle Sierpes from 1932 to 1953. In 2010 Grupo La Raza decided to bring the essence of Los Corales back to Sevilla with this new location at the edge of Plaza Salvador. I was invited to try some dishes on the new menu by executive chef Antonio Bort, and – as you can see – it was a spectacular lunch.
Crab ensaladilla with crab roe mayo
Steak tartar
Lágrima peas with egg and truffle
Thai-style mussels with red curry sauce
Mushroom risotto with parmesan
Grilled Almadraba tuna parpartana with veggies
Grilled Argentinian beef with roasted potatoes
Chocolat with chocolate and chocolate

People write songs and poetry about young love, and to be sure it’s a lovely thing. But lasting love is the one that always gets to me and lifts my heart, like today when l spotted this elderly couple out shopping and still holding hands after all their years together. ❤
