Remember when I was thinking about getting an air fryer? Well I did some research about size and brands, etc and then saw that El Corte Inglés was having a special offer on appliances, with most of them 20-25% off (sin IVA) and this one had excellent reviews, was suddenly much cheaper, so what the heck. But the thing is, on the website the white model looked more elegant than the black one, so I opted for that, but when I got it home and set up on my kitchen counter… fucking Storm Trooper, am I right?? luna is 11

And just as beautiful as ever.

Luna’s birthdate is a guestimate, of course. When I first took her in (Sept 2011) I thought she was only about 6 weeks old because she was so tiny, but the vet said she was more like 3-4 months, just small from being malnourished and living in the streets. We soon put and end to that and in no time she was all plump and pretty.

air fryers – yay or nay?

I’ve been eye-balling these gizmos for the past year or so and am still not convinced they are worth either the price or the shelf space. And are they a total pain to clean? I mean, I like the idea (a lot!) that you can get nice crispy food without using lots of oil, but it almost seems like they are too good to be true. Also, why are they all so bulky and shiny black and ugly? Quite liked the look of this one in El Corte Inglés today. Anyhow, any advice?
