My ONE Black Friday purchase… a WMF potato masher. I can’t believe I’ve never owned a potato masher all the time I’ve lived in Spain. And WMF is usually out of my price range, so what the heck. 40% off. Also… winter is coming.

It seems the BLT has gone from being my favourite summer sandwich to simply being my favourite sandwich. I mean, it’s got everything! An entire meal in a toasted seedy sourdough bun. BUT I realise that I have to limit myself to one a week, otherwise I might be making them all the time. So… something to look forward to. Is there anything you feel you have to limit?

Omg I saw this on Instagram the other day and went… whaaaaat??? I haven’t tried it yet but IF IT WORKS it will be not only a game changer but a goddam life changer. Especially if it also works with cilantro. Will report back.

VICTORY IS MINE! I stopped at a small neighbourhood supermarket l don’t usually frequent looking for spaghetti (l was on my way home and it was convenient) and spotted this lone jar of dijon in the condiments section. And now it’s MINE ALL MINE! ✨✨✨

Tried roasting whole garlics in the STORMCOOKER™️ the other day and all I can say is… wow! Of course this can also be done in a regular oven but I am so enjoying not having had to use my oven since getting the air fryer. Saves heating up the entire kitchen in summer and, more importantly, with soaring energy costs (last electricity bill was double that for the same month and consumption last year!) this should help a little. And every little bit helps.
Anyhow, slice off the end of the garlic bulb, drizzle with some olive oil, season with salt and pepper, wrap it in foil and cook at 190ºC for 20-25 minutes (be careful of hot steam coming out when unwrapping). Then have fun squishing the soft sweet cloves out of their papery casing. So easy and so delicious.
