The other day Kate and I were sitting in La Azotea and suddenly owner Juan handed me his iPhone and asked me to choose some new music for the bar on Spotify. And for some reason I immediately typed in Cowboy Junkies, even though I hadn’t listened to them, or had even thought about them, in years. Perhaps it was because of spending time with Kate (whom I hadn’t seen for over 21 years) and I was feeling a bit nostalgic. Anyhow, this song reminds me of a time almost 30 years ago when I was ridiculously in love with someone who was not in love with me. I think I’ll be making an iTunes purchase soon…
