girls night out
Alejna & Janet at casa az

Long-time blog friend Alejna of collecting tokens (I think we met over at Raincoaster’s) is in town this week, with her mother and husband and two gorgeous kidlets. On Friday we decided to have a girls night out and I took Alejna & Janet on a wee tapas tour, to three quite different places. First stop was El Rinconcillo, the oldest bar in Sevilla, to sample the best “espinacas con garbanzos” along with a glass of manzanilla sherry. Then on to Modesto so that Alejna could try some “calamares del campo” (aka “land squid” – bit of a private joke). And finally we stopped off at La Sal for some of the best tuna in town…

There is a farewell lunch planned for today including the whole family and Nog, so no doubt there will be more food porn coming your way very soon. I have finally met my match in the “don’t eat it yet, I’m taking a photo!” department. Except Alejna has a totally kick-ass camera compared to my eensy-weensy snapshot one. Ah well, maybe one day…

Meeting Alejna in person has been a total delight.

PS… I think I am going to run down town and pick up some sushi from my favourite little Korean/Japanese restaurant, Miga

Maybe I will even photograph it!

Looking at images of food is almost as good as eating it, sometimes. Thanks for sharing. I’m way behind on blogging, we finished the strawberry bed wall, which I’m going to blog about in a minute.
