Alejna & Janet at casa az
Long-time blog friend Alejna of collecting tokens (I think we met over at Raincoaster’s) is in town this week, with her mother and husband and two gorgeous kidlets. On Friday we decided to have a girls night out and I took Alejna & Janet on a wee tapas tour, to three quite different places. First stop was El Rinconcillo, the oldest bar in Sevilla, to sample the best “espinacas con garbanzos” along with a glass of manzanilla sherry. Then on to Modesto so that Alejna could try some “calamares del campo” (aka “land squid” – bit of a private joke). And finally we stopped off at La Sal for some of the best tuna in town…

These are deep-fried langostines with potato threads twisted around them, at one of my favourite tapas bars in Seville, Bodeguita Romero. Mmmm…

So, okay … I forgot to participate in nursemyra’s t-shirt Friday last month. And then yesterday I got a reminder e-mail from Silverstar telling me it was the last Friday of the months, so here I am with one of the very colourful tie-dyed t-shirts that healingmagichands made for me a couple of years ago. I had no idea these options existed until someone tweeted about it the other day. I am definitely going to have a LOT of fun with these new toys.
