Lunaβs birthdate is a guestimate, of course. When I first took her in (Sept 2011) I thought she was only about 6 weeks old but later the vet said she was more like 3-4 months, just tiny from being malnourished living in the streets. She has since filled out nicely as you can see.
Happy Birthday lovely Luna π!

As always happens I smelled it before I saw it… even through my mask! It was a soft warm spring afternoon and I was walking back to the centre after having had lunch in Triana and suddenly I stopped dead in my tracks because THERE IS WAS. That gorgeous fragrance of azahar (orange blossom) that always takes me to a happy place. I’d been noticing buds on the trees for the past week or so but today was the first time I actually saw and smelled the blossoms. Oh my god… so happy.

It’s heeeeere! And as usual I could smell the azahar before I saw it, on my evening walk (hence poor quality pic as it was already dark). And as always I suddenly felt extra happy to be alive. The next 2-3 weeks are going to be heavenly.
