As with my recent Cádiz Getaway, my two hotels in Córdoba were very different. First a night of exquisite luxury at the Hotel Balcón de Córdoba (where I stayed with my friend and fellow travel planner Rachel Webb @spaniola). The next night I was on my own at the Hotel Hacienda Posada de Vallina, which was attractive and comfortable. Reviews coming up on Azahar Travels.

So remember back in February when I won this? Well, what with this and that, I hadn’t got round to booking a Parador Hotel for my free night (with brekkie) and then the other day I realised that if I didn’t do this in June then I’d have to wait until September. So I’m going to Antequera next week! Which has been on my “to do” list for ages. And it also fits in with being able to get some research done for Alternatravels. Win-win!

I’ve been quite busy this past week or so trying to get the hotel page finished for azahar-sevilla.com, hoping that I would soon be able to generate some income from the nifty new Booking.com affiliate widget I now have on the site.
Then I realised that there are actually quite a few very nice holiday apartments in town that I hadn’t thought of including, and so this past weekend Nog & I went out and did some research, resulting in the new holiday apts page.
