A nice midweek public holiday today.
Well, except that Nog and I are busy working on that big translation job (the one that might end up paying for a lovely holiday somewhere, sometime soon). But then a couple of hours ago we decided it was too gorgeous a day to stay inside – bright & sunny and about 22º – so we went out to Casa Roman for lunch.
Here is where we were, the view from our table, what we had to eat (first 6 pics) …
Yummmm – were those hams hanging from the ceiling?

Yep, jamón ibérico – yummm indeed.
And before alji shows up and comments on how much we eat, I should point out that those pork ribs, although very tasty, were pretty much a plate of bones. So there. 😉

Oh, what a lovely day! I just love looking at the street scenes in your album. Love those balconies on the buildings all up and down the street, too. Makes me want to move to a place like that. I’ve always been a sucker for floor to ceiling windows. 🙂
The food looks great, too! Particularly the fish (the balawhatsit is salt cod, I think?) and those olives…

Bacalao is any sort of cod, but yes, the salt cod is very popular here. And those olives are fabulous – just ask Teuchter.
Lori, I’m not sure if chartreuse is really your colour – checked out cheap flights yet?
