Today Luna had her wound cleaned and rebandaged at the vet’s and everything looks great, no sign of infection or fluid build up. She got another antibiotic shot and on Monday I start her on oral antibiotics at home (wish me luck with that!). She’s so compliant at the vet’s… at home she’s a whole other gata. 

The biopsy results won’t be back until next week. I have an appointment to get her stitches out on December 30th and between now and then will be keeping a close eye on her. Might take her in again before Christmas Eve just so the vet can have a look at her belly again. Otherwise I should be able to change her bandage here. 🤞

Sonia says I have to keep Luna warm… her temperature is running a bit low… so the heat is on here and I’ve been trying to get her to settle down. But as she seems to be feeling better I think she’s also more restless and won’t stay put. Finally I sat with her for a while in my comfy chair, then transferred her to the “warm spot” and topped her off with the blue thermo blanky… and she seems very happy with that. Except now I don’t have anywhere to sit! More news as I have it…
