From June 15 to 28 the Sherry Council in Jerez has organised Jerez Restaurant Week, which will give people a chance to discover the best matches for Sherry Wines and Manzanilla through original pairings from a selection of 40 gastrobars in Madrid, Barcelona, and Sevilla.

We have an Alerta Naranja for extreme temperatures this weekend, though it actually started hitting 40º a couple of days ago. I am trying to wait until 2 pm (when cheaper electricity rates kick in) to turn on the AC but once it gets to 30º INSIDE it’s hard not to succumb. Howzit where you are?

My old pal Marcello @marcellobrito from Brazil is back in town for a travel fair and so of course I took him out on a tapeo. We can’t remember if it’s been 10 or 12 years since we last saw each other but in the end it doesn’t matter because it feels like just yesterday. Good times.
