So this is what I did yesterday…
Got a new page set up for my teaching biz, which I think looks quite nice. I thought I could use it for advertising not just English classes, but also translations and whatnot. I decided to use the same theme I’m using for azahar sevilla, but without a rotating image in the header and only one sidebar. So next time I make up posters I’ll include the website URL.

I’ve been losing it the past couple of weeks.
And the thing is, I’m supposed to be better now. I’m supposed to be happy about being “cured” and that “nothing is wrong with me”. Except the thing that is still wrong with me is that I’ve spent the past ten months being sick, being in pain and being afraid … and I guess that just doesn’t go away overnight. It’s almost like I was able to cope with all the scary stuff better when it was all happening, because I had no choice…

When I chose a new theme for Sevilla Tapas last month I had no idea how much work it was going to be, as quite a few changes needed to be made. I’ve been very fortunate to have Kim helping me get things set up there and I think her work is almost done, though we keep coming up with more ideas for changes. And so, as if I didn’t have enough to do already, yesterday I decided that the main azahar-sevilla website needed to have a new theme as well…

… this is really getting to be a drag.
Ever since the ferry ride from hell last Monday I’ve been unwell. Went to bed on Monday night feeling tired (but not excessively so) and didn’t get up again until Wednesday morning. I had a fever on Tuesday but since then I’ve been “normal”. The main complaint is that I’ve had constant “dire rear” all week and, since yesterday, quite bad lower abdominal cramps. I’m assuming this is a reaction to the violence done to my digestive system on Monday and not a symptom of a possible tumour recurrence, but yes, I will be calling Dr A this morning to ask his advice…

Yay! My CT scan and blood test results came back normal!
So that means a happy thumbs-up “all clear” until next time (in 3 months).
It was such a relief when Ricardo called me late yesterday afternoon with the good news. And today he is going to set up an appointment with his oncologist friend Ana so that I don’t have to go back to those other oncs I’ve been seeing. I was a bit confused because I thought each oncology group was for a specific type of cancer, and I’ve seen all three oncs in my group. Well, it turns out that Ana is not only a specialist in breast and colon cancer, but she’s also the second in command of the whole department. And I’ve been told she’s a very no-nonsense kind of person, so I hope I feel more comfortable with her.
So … should I go get that mini ‘puter now?
