Welcome to my birthday!
No big plans for today. I’d hoped for a day trip somewhere but that didn’t work out, so I think I’ll just take a “day off” and see what happens. Peter has promised to nip out early and pick up the traditional birthday brekkie arabic pastries I like, so that should get things started quite nicely. And after that, well, who knows…
As always, it’s just great to be here.

It’s December 1st and time to start thinking about my favourite holiday – Christmas!
To wit, my Christmas header is now up and tonight I’ll be going out to look at the Christmas street lights that are being turned on this evening. And if there is anything that might get that ol’ humbug (and cherished friend) Sledpress into the Christmas spirit I reckon it would be this fabulous whisky advent calendar. Too bad I didn’t see it in time to send across the Atlantic…
