I’ve said it before but, man, my life would be so much poorer without Twitter and (more recently) Instagram. Last night I finally got to meet Donna & Dave, who I met via Victor @welovemalaga, another friend I also met on Twitter many years ago. D & D have been to Málaga several times but this was their first visit to Sevilla and they came out on a tapas tour with me. Hopefully we will meet up in Málaga next time!

This is very exciting – I may (finally!) have a PA to help me with organizing and growing We Love Tapas. At the moment we are doing a trial period and, if it works out, then Olga will join the WLT team as my very first personal assistant. I tried doing this a few years ago with another guide, but this time I think I’ll have much better luck as Olga has already shown a lot more enthusiasm and self motivation. And she has lots of great ideas too. Which in turn is getting me excited about new possibilities. So watch this space!

Just when you thought ol’ ShitAdvisor couldn’t get any shittier…
First they removed all contact details from everyone’s pages, and now this. A notice at the top of the pages of people not using their rip-off (25% commission) online booking service, suggesting that prospective clients use them instead. On the other hand, they have returned the contact details (must’ve been a legal issue), so people can also “book now” directly with me. But they’ve worded this new notice to make it seem like there is something WRONG with my tours because they aren’t on the TripAdvisor service. Assholes.

Tomoko is here! She is going to be cat & house sitting while I am away, which will also be a nice holiday for her (she loves cats!). But we have a couple of days together to catch up – and for Tomoko to learn an the Stupid Cat Rules. 😉
Tonight I took her out on a preview of my new San Lorenzo Tapas Tour, which will be starting in September. I think it’s going to be great.
