I used to love this song when I was younger but it was only after putting it on my music playlist recently and RE-LISTENING TO THE LYRICS that I thought OMG this is awful. It could never be made today.

Spent the late morning and early afternoon dodging raindrops while getting to and from the Plaza de España today. Why? Because I was getting my residency card renewed! And it all went great, they even got my fingerprints done without any issue this time. So yay! I can pick up my new card in 30 days.

Got a sudden urge to make potato and leek soup the other day and… this is what happened. For a first time effort it turned out pretty damn good (if I say so myself), total comfort food for a wet wintry week. Have been trying to keep Azahar’s Kitchen a bit more up to date so you can actually find the recipe for this up and ready to try yourself.
