Remember when I was wondering what would happen to all my online stuff when I die?

Well, Lisa over at Cybercoven took it further and actually wrote up a will protecting her writing. She downloaded Neil Gaiman’s simple will for creative people, made a few changes, and now has all her stuff in order.

So I am now going to do the same. I don’t really have any intellectual property to protect, but I would like to know that my blogs and social media stuff won’t just be left stuck out there. I’ve already had an offer from someone willing to take care of Sevilla Tapas. For the rest I’ll mostly need someone to either maintain or delete accounts. Feels weird to be doing this but I think it’s better to deal with it while I am still well & healthy.

How about you – have you made a will?

Got my appointment with Dr Ana the oncologist today at 5pm. Meanwhile, Azar has been all floppy and unwell over the weekend, so I will have to take him to the vet’s this morning and I’m worried sick. Could it be a delayed reaction to the vaccination? Is he dying? I can’t help but think of my last oncology appointment on November 17th and how that same morning I’d taken Sunny to the vet’s … and then that night he lay dying in my arms. I mean, hospital days totally suck anyhow without all this extra crap. So much for taking things easy and preparing myself for my next hospital visit.

I’m a wreck. Azar is not well.
I am not coping.
Fuck.

… whither goest my online persona?

Yesterday my Twitter pal Nicchick posted a link to this article, which asked the question – “What happens to all my social networking information when I die?”.  And Nicola said it was something she hadn’t thought about before. Well I have! Quite a lot, actually. And when I told Nicola about this she suggested I write something about it. So here we go…
