Calçots are basically a type of green onion that are milder than regular onions, with a length of between 15 and 25 cm (white part). The Calçotada is an annual event in Catalonia celebrating the harvest of Calçots. They are grilled over a hot fire, wrapped up in newspaper to steam a bit, served on terra cotta tiles and eaten, after peeling with bare hands, by dipping them one by one in romesco sauce, accompanied by red wine and bread. sunday song – queen at live aid

Watched Bohemian Rhapsody this weekend and then just HAD to rewatch the original Live Aid performance. Rami Malik didn’t manage to get the Freddie Strut down, and to be honest, I never even noticed Freddie’s teeth until this movie. Also, in the film they cut Crazy Little Thing Called Love (12:05) in this sequence… one of my fave Queen songs. It was an enjoyable film but, sorry Rami, nobody rocked it quite like Freddie.
