Good friends, good food, good wine …
Pipocas, Flor and I had an absolutely fabulous time at Tre Fratelli yesterday. In fact, it was a pretty fine day all round. Starting off with yoga class, then an hour or so later Flor came over for further computer instruction. Pip met us here and we walked over to the restaurant together. And for the next three hours there wasn’t even the eensiest hint of dead air.
Today will be quite something else. I need to fast from about 10am and then start drinking that gawd awful strawberry-flavoured barfium snot around 4 o’clock. Then I’ll walk up to Pip’s office at 6 and we’ll head off to the hospital for my CT scan.
Ah well, at least I have some nice memories …

gorgonzola & walnut salad
garlic prawns
ham, chorizo & mushroom pizza

First ejaqui posts food porn on Twitter, then I come here and there’s more food porn. Good luck on the tests.

I’m just getting ready to go and meet Pip. If I wasn’t so grossed out from having drunk almost a litre of gack these pics would be making me hungry too. This morning’s toast was a long time ago…
I hope they don’t take 5 goes to find a vein like last time. 😦

I need help with a math question…. Math is NOT my strong suit…
If I am allotted 4 minutes to complete a document and complete 100 documents, how much time is that in hours?
I was multiplying 4 x 100 and dividing 400 x by 60… and got 6.67 hours… is that right????

Yes, Anneke, that’s right. You might think you’re not good at math, but you did fine on that story problem!

Man! That was fast! Thanks, so much, Beth!
I thought it was right but I didn’t want to hand in my timesheets and find I had charged 10 times as much time as I was allowed to!

Walnut and gorgonzola indeed! And I skipped breakfast this morning because I got up too late. I don’t function without breakfast.
I really need to start believing my alarm clock, instead of constantly hitting the snooze button. It’s on the other side of the room, so I need to get out of bed, cross the floor, hit the snooze button, and go back to bed. And I do this several times every morning. Gah!
