So I have been using this stuff FOREVER, or at least for the past 15 years, plagued as I am by sinus issues. More recently I’ve been using it as a covid deterrent since a good sluicing of salt water up your nose and around your nasal cavities after getting home from being OUT THERE creates a less welcoming situation for viruses and bacteria.

Lately I’ve noticed that Rhinomer 3 (the high-powered squirt one) hasn’t been in stock anywhere and I have had to buy the less-squirty (and somewhat cheaper) Rhinomer 2. Which still works but, you know, it doesn’t shoot up there like the full force version. Apparently there is a supply issue. I’ve been offered other brands but I’m kinda hooked on ol’ Rhinomer.

Then the other day a pharmacist said to me… you still have the nozzle from a previous Fuerza 3 bottle? And duh – apparently this is the ONLY difference between the various strengths… the nozzle. So if I use a pink Fuerza 3 nozzle on a blue Fuerza 2 bottle it suddenly turns into Fuerza 3. I am so happy to know this, and you may be too.

I don’t know of any other social media platform that can do this. Usually this blog serves as my MEMORY for when I want to check back on when this or that happened. And to be honest I was actually going to write a post about my new iridescent green jacket – never forget this is the MOST BORING BLOG in the world! – but couldn’t find a good photo of it. And while I was kicking myself for not doing this when they told me at El Corte Inglés they could only help me if I remembered the exact day I bought the jacket I suddenly remembered this tweet.

I only chat like this on Twitter. My random whatevers. Though I am making progress with Bluesky in case Twitter suddenly flips over and dies. After trying ALL the Twitter alternatives Bluesky is the one that works for me. And really? I’ve been meeting some lovely people there. Poco á poco.

This weekend Meta Dread Threads was finally approved by the EU so people here could join up and bing bing bing suddenly all their friends from Facebook and Instagram were there too because (duh) IT’S THE SAME FUCKING COMPANY. So they are signing up in droves because omg it’s so easy! I don’t know why the EU finally decided to let Threads in, and I don’t care. I am just NOT going to have every single social media platform I use being run by the same crazed company.

So for now I am sticking with floundering Twitter and upstart Bluesky. If you need a Bluesky invite code just let me know.

Well… I say new. To be honest I’ve never actually had a proper logo for the Sevilla Tapas food tours, though I’ve used various orange-themed images over the years over all my messy websites. This was a team effort with my friend Paul who, back in August, also helped me turn my hot mess of websites into a manageable dishevelment. And so this week Paul fine-tuned the basic logo concept I came up with and then properly vectored it for me.

The “problem” I have with my “brand” is that I am both Azahar Sevilla and Sevilla Tapas and they are kind of one overlapping brand with different… um, thingys going on. But probably people know me more as Sevilla Tapas. So after I saw that jerkoff using Sevilla Tapas Tour on his social media I decided to take a stand and reboot Sevilla Tapas Tours, an account I set up years ago (2013) in case anyone tried to use my name. In hindsight I should have also set up Sevilla Tapas Tour but whatever. Anyhow I’m a bit in transition at the moment so you may see some changes coming up for 2024. At least I hope so!
