A new month in a new(ish) year and some new changes for We Love Tapas. María and Marta have just joined the WLT team and I couldn’t be happier. They are both lovely, outgoing, charming and eager to learn. So along with Olga, who will be taking over promotion and other admin duties mid-February, am looking forward to lots of growth, both professionally and personally. 🙂

This weekend Sevilla will host the Premios Goya (the “Spanish Oscars”) for the first time. And so things are heating up around the city with a photo exhibit along Avenida de la Constitución and also this colourful display of some of the nominated films in front of calle Betis along the riverside. I do love Skechers, ever since I bought my first pair of Go Walks in Málaga back in 2013. I’ve actually rebought that same style a couple of times since, and more recently bought these ones online, but as I couldn’t try them on first (obviously) they ended up not the best fit. Then today I was walking home past the Skechers store and saw these fun bling ones were on sale half price. And well, they are awfully cute, more shimmery than glitzy, and they fit! So hello new shoes!

An unexpected pleasure today when Tomoko @tomokotours was in town for a few hours and we managed to meet up for a quick lunch at Alcuza, which included these mahoosive prawns crispy fried in a noodle breading. Great catching up and looking forward to seeing Tomoko again soon. xx
