Meet Mr & Mrs O (aka Ana and Simon O’Reilly). I’ve been Twitter pals with Ana @MrsOAroundTheWorld for ages and have enviously watched her post gorgeous travel pics on Twitter and Instagram. And finally, after twenty years, she returned to Sevilla for a weekend getaway to celebrate Simon’s birthday. They flew in with two friends on Friday evening and I was there to meet them at their hotel and whisk them off for a seriously fun (and delicious) tapeo. What can I say? I even ended up drinking gin cocktails! And rolled home some time after 2 am…

So once again the ol’ Twitter magic has brought more new and interesting people into my life. LOVE Twitter.

Saying “hasta pronto” to these lovely chicas (and big guy Loki) today as I head to Jerez for the long-awaited Sherry Educator course. Packing always a hassle, especially as I try to find something remotely resembling “formal wear” for the gala dinner on Friday. Also catching earlier train now because suddenly there’s an extra bodega visit I don’t want to miss. Gotta run…

Twitter strikes again! My pal Rachel @R_McCormack put me in touch with Pritesh @luvfoodluvdrink and Tareena @TareenaMakeUp when she saw them looking for some Sevilla info on Twitter. I was booked with tours all week but sent them a nice list of fab tapas bars to try out. Then on their last day in town we met up for a quick tapeo, which left me with two new lovely London friends (who may end up becoming lovely Spain friends). I hope so! p and t (1) p and t (2)
