What a great week with two batches of new sherry converts! First up (above) Leigh, Anna, Spike and Alex on a Sherry Tapas Tour (3 bars, lots of sherry, food and fun) and then a Sherry Tapas Tasting (below) with Maria, Steve, Chris, Bert and Pam (shorter version at Casa Morales). Love my job. 👸🏻🥂

Since late yesterday it’s been raining like a mofo and I am so happy. Well okay, not so happy to get totally soaked getting to my Sherry & Tapas tour today, and then having to reorganise everything because there was no way we could get from Bar One to Bar Two without being swept away. So we stayed put and did a twofer there, then there was a break (see above) and we scurried over to Bar Three. In the end everyone was happy, replete and slightly tipsy… and WAY LESS WET than if we’d just gone with the original plan.
More rain coming on Sunday if we’re lucky.

Another Sherry & Tapas Tour and another meet up with an Instagram pal I’ve “known” for ages and finally got to meet in person. Sarah and Ian are here for a few days and so we started things off right with a delicious afternoon bar-hopping and hugging the buildings for shade (it’s getting hot out there!). Social media and my tours have brought so many lovely people into my life.

Started off the new year with a lunchtime sherry & tapas tour. While there are some new plans afoot for 2019, I am loving these sherry tours so much and hope to do a lot more of them this year, along with some other sherry-oriented activities. This time I ended up with five new sherry converts. 🙂

It was great meeting Ansel from Culinary Backstreets this week. He was in town with his family for a short visit, and we found some time to get together on one of my Sherry & Tapas Tours. Looking forward to meeting up again in Lisbon!
