Getting the We Love Tapas team all together at once can be a bit like herding cats, which isn’t really surprising when talking about four (including me) busy free-lancers. But we finally managed to find a few hours for a nice pre-Christmas lunch to catch up and connect. First we did a little Tapas Research, trying out a new bar (with mixed results) and then ended up for a “dessert” course of cheese and sherry at Palo Cortao. Good times.

On my way home I stumbled across the opening party for Un Gato En Bicicleta. For years this alternative bookshop has been going strong in calle Regina, but they have now moved to larger premises (in my street!) and are going to also include a café/bar. At least it won’t be – I hope – another late night bar…
After a crazy RAINY week the sun is back and the streets in Sevilla are looking all shiny and festive. I’ve also decked the halls here at Casa Az with my annual poinsettia header, and the snow started falling on the blog December 1st. Starting to get that Christmas feeling. How about you?

Gotta admit I have a love-hate-love relationship with this machine. But today I totally LOVE it. Another “all clear” PET scan today. So fucking relieved, so very very happy. Still can’t believe it. Spent the afternoon celebrating, now off to spend the evening at a work event. There will be jamón! xx
