sonia is back

I don’t remember when I first “met” Sonìa Graupera @graupix on Twitter… it was many, many years ago. Then two years ago (almost to the day) we finally met up in person here in Sevilla and I saw her again when I was in Barcelona last May. So I was happy to hear that she’d be back in Sevilla on a whirlwind trip this week and would have a few hours to meet up for lunch. Which happened today! I’ve said it before but omg I have met some amazing people via social media, and especially Twitter. And meeting them in person has never been a disappointment. I guess because we already know we have things in common. Anyhow, it was a fun and slightly frantic afternoon, but we visited a few tapas bars and talked-talked-talked and then it was time to say hasta la próxima. Nice day.

linktree

One of those (many) things that happen to me in the wee sleepless hours while I’m scrolling away on my phone… I mean, I’d seen lots of people using Linktree on their social media accounts and thought “oh that’s cool” but it wasn’t until last night around 4 am that I decided to get one for myself! It just makes sense. Twitter and Instagram only allow you one link in your profile but, you know, there is SO MUCH MORE TO ME than just one link. And so here it is. My Linktree links for “business az” (mostly Sevilla Tapas) but also linking to my trip planning service and Patreon.

They’re baaack! Well, Paul has been back to Sevilla a couple of times since lockdown, but I haven’t seen his daughter Molly since 2019. Had a lovely time today checking out brand new Lima Street Food, their second location. Great food, chat and pisco sours.

well this made my day!

made my day

So this popped into my Instagram DMs. Unexpected positive feedback like this is always lovely. Of course I’m sorry they didn’t have a great experience in Paris, but it’s nice to know that I’m fondly remembered.
