John Fahey’s Christmas albums are some of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever heard. This one is a duet played with Richard Ruskin.

I have been Twitter pals with @GreatOil (Callum & Anne-Marie) for many years and so it was great to finally meet up in person. We went for lunch at La Azotea and I was given a bottle of their premium evoo, which we sampled with some lovely sourdough bread. It’s unfiltered evoo (40% Picudo 60% Hojiblanca) and has quite a nice peppery kick to it. Very nice.

Lunch was great too!

While I was away I was doing all my work via the iPhone, which of course is handy – an office in my hand! – but it’s not all that comfortable. Next trip I am going to invest in a small keyboard to use with my iPad. Anyhoodle…
Getting home and back to work on my not-so-trusty steed Sterling (more on that later) was a relief, but mostly because the cutest office assistant ever was keeping me company. I swear Morcilla hasn’t left my side since I got home.

Back in February I finally met Gayle from @GranadaTapasTours in person when she visited Sevilla with her family. So it was great to meet up again on her home turf last night and be taken out on a private tapas tour.
We stopped in at four fabulous bars that I’d never been to before, and each one was unique (and delicious). Of course Gayle personally knew the owners and told us the history of each bar and also some interesting anecdotes and info about Granada. Thanks for such a fun evening Gayle!

It’s that silly time of year when WordPress makes it snow on my blog (until January 4th), which always makes me smile. Even though – thanks anyhow – I am quite happy never having to see snow UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL again for the rest of my life. That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate gorgeous snowflake pics like this one by my friend Alejna, or enjoy seeing snow fall in films… or on my blog.
Also time to put up the Happy Christmas header!
